Salute SMS Program

Salute is a review request service operated by Second Shift Digital LLC. Small service businesses use the Salute app to ask their own customers for feedback after a completed job. Salute is the sender of record for every text message in this program: messages are sent from Salute's number, are generated by Salute from a fixed template, begin with the Salute brand name, and name the business that served you in the body of the message.

How you opt in

Consent is collected in person, at the point of service. It works like this:

You hire a business that uses Salute, and after the job you give the business your mobile number in person, over the phone, or on a job invoice.
The business owner enters your name and mobile number on the New Request screen of the Salute app. That screen displays the consent disclosure below, and the owner confirms it with you before any message is sent:

"By sharing your mobile number, you agree to receive review request texts from [Business Name], sent through Salute. Up to 2 messages per job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Privacy policy: salutereviews.com/privacy"

Phone numbers are only ever entered one at a time by the business that served you. Numbers are never bought, scraped, or imported in bulk, and consent is never transferred between businesses.

Message frequency

Up to 2 messages per job: one review request, plus at most one reminder about 48 hours later if you have not responded. Overall message frequency varies with how many jobs you book with businesses that use Salute. Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop messages (STOP)

Reply STOP to any Salute message and you will not receive further texts. Your number is suppressed across the entire Salute platform, for every business, including any pending reminder. You will receive a single confirmation of your opt-out. Replies of CANCEL, END, QUIT, STOPALL, or UNSUBSCRIBE work the same way. Reply START if you later change your mind.
